Possibly hundreds of Pokémon were showering down on Dialga. Fanfir was showing no mercy, but this was nothing new to the great legendary. She launched yet another Roar of Time at the monster, but it hardly made a mark.
At Dialga's feet, Pokémon like Gallade, Tangrowth, and Magmortar were trying to make themselves useful, sending their most powerful attacks. The smaller Pokémon, mostly Ground-types like Baltoy and Diglett, were trying to distract Fanfir with pathetic attacks like Mud Slap and Confusion. They were squashed with one step of the horrific monster.
Dialga took this chance to say one last thing to her invaluable partner.
"Palkia," she began,"Run. You heard correctly. The humans will be finished off soon anyway. Take as many of your Water Pokémon with you as you can. Try to get those high-level ones to get away, also. This is my end, my dear Palkia, but remember me forever. Good-bye. I'm passing on."
Palkia opened his mouth to argue, but decided against it when another group of Pokémon were destroyed by Fanfir's step. He called about a hundred Water Pokémon over, then proceeded to get the strong ones to run away with him. At the last minute, Palkia stopped and let the other Pokémon run ahead to catch a last glimpse of his best friend.
"FANFIR." Everyone stopped at the sound of Dialga's voice,"WE HAVE ALLOWED YOU TO DESTROY, TO KILL, ALSO. MANY Pokémon HAVE DIED IN FIGHTING, INCLUDING DARKRAI, MEWTWO, AND ZAPDOS. I WILL NEVER SURRENDER TO YOU, SO PREPARE TO FACE THE MOST INCREDIBLE PAIN YOU WILL EVER FEEL. NOW!"
Most of the Pokémon and human weapons fired their attacks at Fanfir. Dialga sent the most powerful Dragon move, Draco Meteor, at the great monster. Then came a flurry of Ancient Powers, Roar of Times, and Metal Claws. Fanfir shrieked in pain, until he decided. Yes, he would have to kill the Temporal Pokémon. With one claw, he ripped the skin covering Dialga's stomach. Blood sprayed all over Fanfir, but Dialga sent one final Draco Meteor before she collapsed, killing about a hundred Pokémon that were behind her, and she was dead. There she lay, the Pokémon that had shaped time, killed in the struggle of mortals vs Fanfir.
And, what had become of Palkia, you ask? There are no words to describe how enraged this Pokémon was. The ground around began to vibrate, any Pokémon that was able to run off did, but the humans were still diligently firing their strongest weapons at Fanfir.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE..."Palkia spoke directly to the monster,"I WILL NEVER...NEVER...FORGIVE YOU...F-F-FOR KILLING HER."
Palkia roared. He sent a Spacial Rend at Fanfir, and, in memory of his partner, a Draco Meteor.
Then he ran off, hardly ever seen since then.
